According to the latest SPOT2.5 image map of 2007,combined with field surveys,this article made detailed compilation of the status quo about the land resources utilization of the Kaifeng Yellow River Beach region; and then,employing the TM images of annual flood peak period between 1992 and 2007 and taking the observational data points of hydrological stations along into account,the article compiled the submerged area of the Kaifeng Yellow River beach region under different flow.On this basis,according to the land resource management and the safety requirements of flood transit,the article summarized the current exploitation status and existing problems of the lower stream part of the Yellow River beach region,at the same time,it proposed some measures to exploit the resource reasonably and safety.
