　　The problem that the pitting on the surface degrades the physical quality of nickel product occurres in nickel electrowinning production.In order to eliminate pitting and improve the surface morphology of cathode nickel, the influence of additives boric acid and dodecyl sodium sulfate (SDS) on the process of nickel electrowinning from sulfate system was studied by cathodic polarization tests and nickel electrodeposition experiments.
