　　Elemental bismuth has many unique properties as a semimetal which has been reported to be an efficient photocatalyst recently.To enhance the stability and efficiency of bismuth,the core-shell Bi@ amorphous Bi2O3 nanospheres (about 200 nm diameter) with different ratio of Bi/Bi2O3 and structures had been synthesized through a simple solvothermal method by adjusting the reaction times in this study.
