Boron(B)is an essential micronutrient for high plant growth primarily for maintaining the integrity of cell walls.Both B deficiency and excess are always limiting the plant growth and productivity.Some genes involved in B uptake and transport have been cloned,including BOR1 and its family members,channel protein NIP5;1 and NIP6;1.In this study,an Arabidopsis mutant LBT(Low Boron Tolerant)and its wide type Co1-0 were used to investigate their various responses to low B stress.
