PELE(Penetrator with Enhanced Lateral Effect)is a new type of ammunition based on physical effects [1-2],it is mainly used for light armored targets and concrete works.Large diameter PELE is used to carry out the opening of the brick wall,concrete and reinforced concrete and infantry can from the opening into the interior to suppress enemy during the street-fighting.This paper make a primary study on progress of PELE penetrating concrete target,explore the influence of materials on process of PELE penetration into concrete target,and provide some reference for the practical work of PELE.The method of numerical simulation is adopted in this paper.
