Objective It is shown that Aflibercept (Eylea) is the latest member in the anti-vascular endothelial growth factors (VEGF) drugs for ophthalmic application.This article reviews the current literatures and clinical trial data regarding Aflibercept and describes the advantages of it over other anti-VEGF drugs for the treatment of wet Agerelated macular degeneration(AMD).
