The influences of GM on plant growth, mycorrhizal colonization and mineral nutrients of asparagus seedlings were studied.The asparagus variety used was jersey knight from USA, and the Arbuscular Mycorrhiza Fungi (AMF) strain for the experiment was Glomus Mosseae (GM) from Hungary.Pot experiment for asparagus seedlings inoculated with GM when sowing was conducted in the greenhouse.Results indicated that inoculating GM greatly enhanced biomass of asparagus seedlings than the non-inoculated control, and asparagus roots were of high mycorrhizal dependency; the mycorrhizal colonization of GM on asparagus root system followed with an "S" tendency.
