A novel organic-inorganic hybrids,the so-called cerasomes has been synthesized by combination of sol-gel reaction and self-assembly of a molecular which is analogous to lipids.Firstly,the cerasome forming lipid(compound 1)was synthesized with 3-Iopdopropyl trimethoxysilane and compound 2 which was synthesized by referring the reported route[1] in dry DMF(route 1).Secondly,this synthesized lipid was used to fabricate cerasome,thereby investigating the self-assembly capability to form vehicles.Logically,like other similar compounds[2],it can form cerasome with a bilayer vesicular structure and a silicate surface.Of note,the yield was higher than any other analogous published in the literature,and the whole process of forming cerasome was in distilled water at a pH ranged from 2 to 12,which is much wide than that of reported molecules.Finally,encapsulation of ICG which is a fluorescent dye was carried out,which resembles that of making blank cerasomes,excepting that ICG chloroform solution was added at the film forming step.
