In a recent study28-day gavage study in rats administered chemical X which is a fluorosurfactantat doses of 0,10,50 and 200 mg/kg/day,we reported that the histopathological changes observed in the noses of rats were likely attributable to the gavage technique and therefore administration-route specific.
