Plasmonic waves,or surface plasmon polaritons,are very attractive because they can perform unique functions that can be hardly achieved with classical diffractive optics.In this presentation,first,plasmonic hot spot generation and directional plasmonic wave control methods will be discussed.I will describe the ways of exciting directional plasmonic waves on metallic surfaces or metal-insulator-metal plasmonic waveguides by the control of polarization,direction and phase of input lights.
