Hdag-L Nuclear Export Signal-Interacting Protein Nesi Regulates Cell Migration

　　The regulation of nucleo-cytoplasmic transport is critical for diverse cellular functions.Our previous studies have revealed the presence of a novel nuclear export signal (NES) at the carboxyl-terminus of the large form of hepatitis delta antigen (HDAg-L).In addition,an NES(HDAg-L)-interacting protein,designated NESI was identified.NESI protein serves as the mediator for the nuclear export of HDAg-L and the assembly of HDV genomic RNA via a chromosome region maintenance 1-independent pathway.
