Across international collaborations to control Green House Gases (GHG) emissions especially CO2 leading to the issue of global climate warning,first time ever co-operation at worldwide scale are taking place.“Sustainability” which means to “meet present needs without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their needs”[1] becomes a common movement internationally to deal with GHG emission issues.This movement toward the globe is changing the ways businesses,organisations and governments operate.Buildings,as a major sector of GHG-emitting fossil fuel energy consumption,embed significant opportunities for reducing GHG emissions.A vision on “Building Efficiency” for “Green” buildings by applying the latest technologies especially in the area of Heating,Ventilation,Air-conditioning,Cooling & Refrigerating (HVAC&R) and Integrated Building Management Systems (iBMSs) is not only to create immediate superior values on financial and non-financial results for the communities,but also to promise a better living environment or sustainability for our future generations to come.
