Pt(Ⅱ) Schiff base complexes containing pyrene subunits were prepared by using the chemistry-on-complex approach.[1] It is for the first time supramolecular photochemical approach was used to tune the photophysical properties of the Schiff base Pt(Ⅱ)complexes,such as the emission wavelength and lifetimes.
