  By practice and application of urban integrated vector management(IVM)in Beijing,such as "Healthy Beijing Cockroach(Ant)Elimination Program",we get out the pattern of urban vector management especaily in Beijing.For controlling of urban vector,we pay antention to the following 8 espects: intensive concern of government,attention on hot issues related to peoples livelihood,high-efficient organization and coordination,calling on extensive participation by the public,close cooperation by various divisions,make good use of technological advantages,standardizing PCO industry and promote professional service.Beijings IVM efforts has formed the rough framework of Beijing characteristics based on its probing into standardized PCO management,effective control for large-sized activities and the successful implementation of the large-scale million-household cockroach(ant)elimination.
