　　Dendritic structure as a typical solidification structure of metallic alloys is of great importance to further investigation on the formation mechanism of solidification defects and the quantitative relationship between processing parameters and solidification quality of semi-cast.LMPSC (Lab of Metallurgy Process Simulation and Control, NEU) has been devoted to the development of powerful numerical models to predict the dendritic evolution and the experimental tests of solidification structures of continuously cast steel.
