The Helmholtz International Beamline at the European XFEL [1] will be a facility that equips the x-ray laser with ultra-intense and high energy lasers(up to PW-class 30 fs,and kJ-class 10 ns) and high magnetic fields(>50 T).Many innovative experiments using the lasers or the magnetic field as "pump" and the ultrashort X-ray beam as probe may be performed.
