Banknote sorter is an indispensable equipment in the financial business.In the banknotes currently in circulation, mint and stick adhesive tape and other items, using the traditional photoelectric sensor is difficult to discern, and the traditional electromechanical measured thickness sensor has a complex structure as large volume, difficult installation and maintenance.In order to separate the sticky tape notes from the normal notes.In this paper, a new method for measuring the thickness of paper money based on acceleration sensor is proposed.The method using two acceleration sensors measuring feeding currency at the two ends of the shaft vibration, shaft end of the corresponding displacement can be obtained through quadratic integral,and then by the software algorithm to estimate the size and position of the banknote thickness changes.Note the thickness anomaly detection based on acceleration sensor is realized.Based on the difference principle of the acceleration sensor thickness need hardware circuit and digital processing system with is a kind of small volume and low cost, thickness of the notes feature detection scheme, in line with the development trend of the sorter miniaturization.Firstly, this paper introduces the principle of the thickness anomaly detection of the acceleration sensor, then analyzes the experimental phenomenon.At the time of the experiment will also after the number of normal notes, notes in sticky tape notes and stick adhesive tape and the normal notes mixed were placed in the currency count machine, using singlechip to collect acceleration sensor signal processing and, through the analysis of the accelerometer output signal changes in the situation, in order to determine the thickness of the notes is abnormal.The experimental results show that this method can effectively detect the thickness of paper currency.
