Poly(butylene terephthalate) (PBT) is a semicrystalline polymer widely used in many industrial applications as thermoplastic material.Because of its good mechanical,thermal properties,and high chemical resistance,PBT is applied in many fields such as car industry,electrical engineering and fire retardant materials.However,the main drawback of PBT is the brittleness,and the improvement of the final products flexibility is sometimes required.Previously,such problems are settled by using copolymerization techniques,whichincorporate soft (functional) parts to the polymer main chain[1].
