A dye-sensitized and MgO-doped titanium dioxide photoanode has been fabricated through the traditional doctor-blade technique.And we also demonstrate a general approach to deposite the multi-wall carbon nanotubes(MWCNTs)via distinctively treated on the fluorine-doped tin oxide conducting glass substrates as the counter-electrodes.The performance of the assembled Dye-sensitized Solar Cells(DSSCs)was investigated by current-voltage characteristics and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy.According to the compared consequences of different counter-electrodes with discriminative MWCNTs,acid treatment or compositing with graphite,the cell prepared by the composite of graphite and acid-treated MWCNTs exhibited excellent catalytic activity of I-/I3- redox reaction and photoelectric properties.a short-circuit current density of 4.67mA/cm2 and open-circuit voltage of 0.53V,comparable with Pt-based cell.
