　　Crystals of an unusual actinide borate-phosphate,namely,[Sr8(PO4)2][(UO2)(PO4)2(B5O9)2](SrUPB1),wassynthesized through high temperature solid state method.It is the second alkaline earth metal uranyl borate-phosphate,the first one is Ba5[(UO2)(PO4)3(B5O9)]nH2O(BaUPB1)[1].
