In this talk, we discuss the nonequilibrium free energy theorem for small systems experiencing processes involving time-varying temperature.A new relation is proposed.The influence of the heat transferred from the reservoir could be used to reduce the error in estimating the ensemble average from a finite number of trials.A generalized free energy relation for arbitrary heat bath temperature changes is also derived.The availability of the conclusions in applying to heat conductions and related issues is discussed.
