蛋公鸡去势对行为和生长发育的影响

本试验选取体重相近的11周龄蛋鸡公鸡共28只,随机分成对照组(未进行去势手术,14只)、半阉组(摘除1个睾丸,6只)及全阉组(摘除2个睾丸,8只)三组.试验期为6周.在每周同一时间进行行为学视频拍摄和分析,并测定生长形状指标.结果显示:行为学表现方面,去势对公鸡的攻击、啄物、啄羽等行为学表现等无显著影响(P>0.05),但公鸡一般行为(饮水、采食、伸脚)发生频次有显著变化.生长性能方面,去势对鸡冠和肉髯的生长发育有显著影响,试验组的鸡冠、肉髯发育指标显著小于对照组(P<0.05).去势对公鸡的屠宰率、半净膛率、全净膛率、胸肌率等无显著影响(P>0.05);但半阉组的腿肌率高于对照组(P<0.01).半阉组的胸肌肉色优于对照组和全阉组,去势具有提高胸肌剪切力的趋势.
