　　Extraction conditions,basic properties and stablity of the pigment from Verrucosispora aurantiaca(YIM013T=CCTCC207012T=KCTC19195T) were invetigated in this paper.It was tested that the effects of pH,temperature,light,UV,some kinds of ions on stability of this pigment.the results showed that its maxium absorption wavelength is 472.0nm.Ultrasonic extraction method was better than organic solvent extraction method in this research.
