Purpose: To evaluate the stress distribution in the individual mandibular titanium framework and discuss the fabrication of the framework model by rapid prototyping.Methods: A 3 Dimensional finite element model of the individual mandibular with holes in 4mm diameters and 3mm interval both vertically and horizontally was developed according to the defect of the mandible.The total modelling and solution processes were performed using the ANSYS.Then through image conversion,the resin model of the framework was fabricated by rapid prototyping.
