It is well known that the plasma membrane proteins play pivotal biological roles in the regulation of organ development by converting extracellular signals into intracellular ones and finally targeting transcription factors through signaling transduction. Also it is reported that the membrane protein whose diameter is smaller than the nuclear pore can directly enter the nucleus, and the macromolecular transmembrane protein does not enter the nucleus except that its transmembrane domain is removed.
