We describe joint work with K.Choiy which determines the structure of the parabolically induced from discrete series representations of inner forms of classical p{adic groups.Since inner forms and their associated quasi‐split form share L{groups, and each Levi subgroup of the inner form is inner to a Levi of the quasi‐split form, the local Langlands conjecture predicts a relation between the Knapp‐Stein R{groups attached to the correspinding L{packets.
