The analytical expressions of electromagnetic field is obtained by using pulse function to express channel bottom current and the dipole method to solve the Maxwells equations based on the TL model for lightning electromagnetic field.Spatial distribution laws of electric and magnetic fields was revealed when horizontal distance and height of the observation point changes The results show that with the increase of the horizontal distance the peak of electromagnetic field becomes more smaller while rising edge of electric and magnetic field become much more flatter;With the increasing of observation point height,rising edge of electric and magnetic fields become steeper,the electric field peak increases with the rising of the height within a certain range and the peak of magnetic field remains constant.
