Owing to its attractive electrochemical characteristics,namely,fast electron-transfer rate,low oxidation potential,and stability of its two redox states(neutral ferrocene and oxidized ferrocenium),ferrocene has often been introduced in other organic compounds to obtain promising utilities,such as,electrocatalysis,electroanalysis,biosensing devices and for the wiring of enzymes to electrodes [1-3].
