PREPARATION OF O/W MCFA MICROEMULSION AND STUDY ON ITS CHARACTERISTICS

  The self-emulsification method (HLB method) was used to prepare middle-chains-fatty-acid (MCFA) microemulsions,by which the solubility of hard-dissolved or water-insoluble substances could be increased.After evaluating their qualities,the best formula was optimized,which was MCFA,Tween-80,iso-amyl alcohol and distilled water in the mass ratios of 3∶2∶1∶0.68.According to the phenomenon of the self-emulsification,the MCFA,surfactant,co-surfactant and distilled water were used to titrating each other.
