On-site biomass equivalent biochar-returning persist in mitigating methane emission in paddy field

　　To correctly evaluate the effect of biochar amendment on methane mitigation in paddy,four years field experiment was conducted.Three treatments were set up including annual on-site biomass(rice straw)equivalent biochar-returning(ERSC,rice straw biochar at 2.8 t·ha-1 yr-1 with a 35%carbonization rate),high application rate biochar-returning(RSCH,rice straw biochar at 22.5 t·ha-1 yr-1)and control(CK,no biochar addition).
