  十花科黑腐病菌(Xanthomonascampestris pv campestris,Xcc)利用一个全局性的Ⅲ型分泌分子伴侣(TypeⅢsecretion chaperone) HpaB将效应物蛋白高效地注入至寄主细胞内。将HpaB C-末端缺失,发现缺失突变体在寄主满身萝卜的致病性锐减以及在非寄主辣椒ECW-1 0R的过敏反应(hypersensitive response,HR)丧失,暗示HpaB的C-末端对效应物蛋白的分泌和转运具有贡献。定点突变实验表明,C-末端的两个极性氨基酸E145和E148在一些效应物蛋白的分泌和转运过程中起重要作用。
