The Pulmonary Surfactant-Associated Protein (SP-A) gene has been studied as a candidate gene for lung disease resistance in human and livestock.The objective of the present study was to identify polymorphisms of porcine SP-A gene coding region and its associations with phenotype of lung acute injury.
