Objective: To explore the role of mitochondrial damage of vascular smooth muscle in the occurrence of shock-induced vascular smooth muscle hyporesponsiveness and to explore the effect and mechanism of polydatin on prevention and treatment of shock-induced hypotension. Methods: The rat model of severe hemorrhagic shock was reproduced and the microcirculation specimens were made to measure the vascular reactivity. The rat mesenteric arteriolar smooth muscle cells were isolated. The ultrastructural changes of mitochondria were observed by transmission electron microscopy.
