2μm人眼安全波段的激光在遥感、雷达、医疗及光纤通信等领域应用广泛。铥钬共掺的特种光纤由于其Tm3+离子具有较宽的吸收光谱，利用Tm3+→Ho3+之间的能量转移机制使其成为2μm光纤激光器理想的增益介质。本文报道了一种基于SESAM被动锁模技术的2μm铥钬共掺全光纤激光器。
