A new computation method is proposed to study the dynamic fracture of the flexible multibody system, where the potential fracture part with large deformation is modeled by using the Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics (SPH) method and the other parts are described by using the Absolute Nodal Coordinate Formulation (ANCF).In order to maintain the deformation field continuation, extra virtual particles are introduced and embedded in the boundary ANCF elements which are connected to the physical SPH particles.
