The study is related to the Dengue transmission in four major cities of Pakistan.For this purpose, the data of Dengue cases for the years 2009-2012 of Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi is collected, evaluated and compiled.To identify the reasons and regions of higher risk of Dengue transmission, landuse classification, analysis of climate covariates and drainage patterns was done.The analysis involves processing of SPOT-5 10 meter, Landsat-TM 30 meter data sets, and SRTM 90 meter Digital Elevation Models by using Remote Sensing and GIS techniques.
