  Negative-imaginary systems have important engineering applications,for example,in lightly damped flexible structures with collocated position sensors and force actuators.In this talk,robustness analysis and controller synthesis methods for uncertain negative-imaginary systems are explored.Some preliminary results about engineering applications of negativeimaginary systems will also be discussed.
