The balance between carbon (C) and nitrogen (N) utilization must be precisely coordinated to optimize plant growth, development and metabolism.Although numerous physiological and molecular studies have been conducted in C/N or ratio response, few genes have been identified to play critical roles in signaling of C/N balance.
