Chitosan was used as drug vector,folate as tumor targeting ligand to directly prepare Folate-decorated chitosan(FA-CTS) microspheres and 10-hydroxycamptothecin(HCPT)-loaded folate-decorated chitosan(FA-CTS/HCPT)microspheres by ionic crosslinking method through the electrostatic interaction between the protonated amino of chitosan in acidic conditions and the deprotonation of carboxyl of folic acid in alkaline conditions.The morphological characteristics of microspheres were examined using a transmitting electron microscope(TEM).
