Background Staphylococcus aureus (S.aureus) is the major Gram-positive bacteria causing hospital and community infection.Methods We collected Staphylococcus aureus strains isolated from Clinical infected patients of the first affiliated hospital of Zhengzhou university during June 2010 to October 2010, and determined 12 kinds of antimicrobial drug resistance by K-B method after cultivation and identification.We made MRSA to SCCmec Genotyping with PCR, and analysised the significance of SCCmec gene box in MRSA resistance.
