Water demand and supply were simulated potential future climate and human activities change scenarios by applying SWAT-WEAP model in Laohahe River Basin.Water resources adaptation pattern was established based on scenarios-driven.The results show that:(1) in scenario similar to early climate,there is a significant difference of water shortagein different adaptation patterns,especially in dry years.Unmet demand from more to less in four patterns is as follows:"current pattern","supply-oriented pattern","supply&demand-oriented pattern" and "demand-oriented pattern",among which "supply&demand-oriented pattern" can obviously increase the amount of available water as well as utilize effectively limited water resources,thus significantly easing the pressure on water resources system.
