　　In order to avoid the overprotection and the anode aluminum waste in the cathodic protection of 316L steel in subsea water,a Micro-arc Oxidation(MAO)coating was prepared on the surface of the aluminum anode.The surface morphology was evaluated by scanning electron microscope(SEM)before and after corrosion.
