Pressure leads to a slow changing of crystal structure in most Ⅲ–Ⅵ compounds,in particular,in the related compounds Ga2Se3,Ga2O3,and In2Se3.However,the pressure dependence of structural properties of Ga2S3 has rarely been addressed.Therefore,an accurate investigation of the structural change of Ga2S3 under pressure is highly required.Superposition of large plastic shear on high pressure dramatically changes the microstructure,mechanism,and kinet ics of phase transition,which would result in some novel phenomenon,for example,reduction of phase transition,and substituting a reversible phase transformation with an irreversible one.
