In this study,we investigated eight injured varieties among thirty four oilseed rapes and analyzed their index of bird pest, compared glucosinolates content with injured and normal varieties, expecting to identify the relationship between bird pest and glucosinolates content in oilseed rapes. The results showed that the varieties lower than 23μmol/g glucosinolates content had bird pest with different degree, ranged from 14.3%to 50.0%,while the varieties higher than 23μmol/g glucosinolates content had no bird pest. The index of bird pest among eight injured varieties ranged from 25.0%to 77.22%,which decreased with increase of the glucosinolates content.Six aliphatic glucosinolates profiles had significant or highly significant difference between injured and normal varieties with T test, and most of the aliphatic profiles had negative correlation with index of bird pest, indicating that aliphatic profiles were the main factors resulted in the total glucosinolates content between injured and normal varieties, and they had positive effect to improve resistance to bird pest as well.
