Usnea longissima,a lichen,grows on oak and pines and is used to heal the wounds in many complementary and alternative system of medicine.To explore its scientific validation,a study has been done to evaluate the efficacy of 50％ and 90％ ethanolic extracts of Usnea longissima against various bacterial strains.
