基于Nd,Y:CaF2无序晶体百飞秒脉冲的产生

首次用Nd,Y:CaF2无序晶体作为激光增益介质,研制出了能够产生百飞秒的超短脉冲激光器,该激光器采用激光二极管泵浦,同时采用当前最普遍的半导体可饱和吸收体作为锁模元件.由于该无序晶体的荧光带宽到达了31nm,因此得到了103fs的最短的脉冲,该脉冲序列的重复频率约为100MHz,最终得到的锁模光谱为12nm,激光器输出的平均功率为89mW.在所有以Nd晶体作为增益介质的超快激光器中,得到的脉冲宽度是最短的,且无序晶体超宽的荧光带宽和晶体自身优良的热导率特性,使得Nd,Y:CaF2成为能够替代钕玻璃的最有潜力的材料.
