This article evaluated molecular sequences and root exudates composition of tomatoes M1 and M2 by space mutation breeding.Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) technique was used to determine the molecular marker on the basis of Random Amplified Polymorphic DNA (RAPD),while GC-MS was applied to identify the chemical components of root exudates.When compared with their parent CK,11 variable sites were found in M2.The differences between composition and quantity of root exudates in seeding and florescence periods of CK,M1 and M2 highly significantly different (p<0.01).Among them,some were pollutants and harmful chemicals.Our findings indicated that the tomatoes DNA we studied changed after space mutation breeding,and the root composition varied in different genotypes and at different development stages.Besides,more attention should be paid on the safety of crops by space mutation breeding for environment and human.
