The NBI is a high power auxiliary heating system of EAST device.Since there is possible damage to the neck port due to the neutral beam, a thermal shielding structure is needed to withstand the high heat load from NBI beam.This paper presents a thermal shielding used for protecting the neck pipe of EAST A# equatorial port.The TS concept is depicted in detail with the 3D model.The cooling system is described with the cooling loops.And the interface between the inner cooling branches and the outer main loop is introduced.The fabrication procedures, such as the cooling pipes, the heat sink and the imbedding is addressed with the technical processing procedures.In particularly, the pipe bending and the imbedding are presented with the leakage test.The assembly activities are demonstrated before the EAST discharge.It is confirmed that the TS structure is safety and run feasibly in the EAST discharge activities.It indicates that the TS structure has been completed with an independent procedure in view of a systematic consideration.It is also a design reference for EAST F# port for TS design in the future.
