Metabonomics is a new omics science developed in recent years.Its major research objects cover bio-fluid, bio-tissue and metabolome of single cell.Modem analytical technologies such as NMR、 LC-MS and GC-MS are used to obtain multi-dimensional data for the whole research system, then pattern recognition and expert systems are employed to extract systematic bioinformation.Metabolomics takes great progess with the development of analysis technology and biomtrics.In this review, the key aspects of metabonomics, including preparation of samples, analysis technology, principle of data processing are introduced.
