La2(IO3)(IO4): A Novel Lanthanum Iodate with Layered Structure and Visible-Light Driven Photocatalys

　　A novel lanthanum iodate La2(IO3)(IO4) was synthesized by a hydrothermal method. It crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group Pbca with a = 7.443(0) (A), b = 13.916(3) (A), c = 22.079(4) (A), and Z = 8.
